The Mountain Lodge Gap of Dunloe

The cottage has just been extensively renovated and the entire property is beautifully furnished and exceptionally decorated. The location makes an ideal base for touring Killarney, Dingle and The Ring of Kerry. The spectacular scenery provides a magnificent backdrop for an abundance of outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, mountain climbing, horseriding, fishing and boating.Many championship golf courses are nearby including Killarney, Tralee, Waterville and Ballybunion. The village of Beaufort is a few minutes by car, a short 5 mininute walk takes you to the Gap of Dunloe or you can take a jaunting car from the front door.The area has a host of fantastic restaurants, traditional pubs and musical entertainment.You will want to come back time and again to this perfect Irish getaway.

You can book our lodge as a single cottage, comprising five en suite bedrooms and three patios- an ideal for group travel (walkers, hikers, golfing groups, bridal parties, family getaways etc. The cottage can also be partly booked as private individual self contained units, each unit with its own private kitchen and private patio. There is a spacious reception area which can be enjoyed by all guests.

The Beaufort Suite
This is a two bedroom suite. One bedroom contains a double bed and ensuite shower room containing large power shower and underfloor heating. One twin room with ensuite shower room with large power shower and underfloor heating. The open plan kitchen/living area has a fully fitted kitchen with electric fire. Private patio with dining set. Wooden floors throughout. Suite sleeps four. Shared grounds with own parking.

The Gap of Dunloe Suite
This is a two bedroom suite, both rooms with double beds and ensuite shower rooms with large power shower and underfloor heating. The open plan living/kitchen room has an electric fireplace and leads out to a private patio with views of the Gap of Dunloe. Wooden floors throughout. Sleeps four. Shared grounds with own parking.

The Corrantuathail Suite
This is a one bedroom suite with king size bed and a large walk-in closet. The ensuite shower room has large power shower and underfloor heating. The bright open plan living/ kitchen room includes a fully fitted kitchen with sliding patio doors leading out to a private patio with views of the Gap. Wooden floors throughout. Sleeps two. Shared grounds with own parking.

Facilities


The cottage has central heating throughout, with underfloor heating in all bathrooms. All suites have 26" colour satellite television, DVD player and complimentary Wi-Fi. The kitchens have electric oven/hob, and all necessary cutlery/crockery. Linens/ towels are all included, also iron/iron board, hairdryer, and washer/dryer on site. Patio has dining sets, and there is on site parking for all guests. Security system. Landscaping throughout. Welcome package provided inc tea/coffee. Sorry...no smoking.
