Camp Craft
Mountaineering and hillwalking is one of the fastest growing
hobbies and sports in the world and can be appreciated
even greater if you acquire the basic training on how to
look after yourself in the great outdoors.

One of the most important fundamentals of outdoor life
is to have the ability to look after yourself, It is
your responsibility to ensure that you are as prepared
as you
can be to undertake your set out objectives, you owe
it to yourself and to others.
In doing so you add a new dimension to the enjoyment
of your adventures and become a more proficient walker,
trekker
or climber.
So if this is your aim we are here to help you. We have devised
programs that will give you the expertise and confidence
to have a more enjoyable and adventurous life in the great
outdoors

One

we now have 1,2 and 3-day events that cover
all aspects of living in the outdoors.
Areas Covered
Cooking, erecting, positioning and living in tents in all
kind of weather and conditions.Co-ordinated by Pat Falvey
who contents that proper camp craft can add to the pleasures
of treks and expedition here in Ireland and abroad.
Pat has endured the pleasures of having to live in tents
for periods of up to sixty days at a time on expeditions.
From the rolling hills of Ireland, to the colds of Antarctica,
and to the highest mountains in the world, including Mt.
Everest.
Make camping an experience to be enjoyed and learn the art
of camp craft in a magnificent setting of the Kerry Mountains.
