Hats, Caps and Bandanas




Our baseball caps or brimmed hats will keep the sun off on our walk-in and resting during camp sun.

We each have favourite cuts of the many Lowe Alpine 'fleece' hats and balaclavas but the magnificent Mountain Cap is one those items we simply don't want to be without anywhere on our journey. Bandanas will be crucial throughout as a sweatband and sun protection for our necks.

Sunglasses and Goggles



100% protection is needed for our eyes amidst the brightness of the Himalayan sun and snows. We will each use Julbo glasses throughout ,with a special glacier model chosen for mountain use with it side and nose shields. Protection against wind and spindrift will provided
by goggles.

Headlamps



The top of the line, Petzl head lamps are our standard in this area.
On this expedition, the new lightweight Petzl Myo lamp with LED and halogen technologies will be used.

Helmets



Our helmets will be the ultralight Meteor made by Petzl of high-density polystyrene and polycarbonate.
