Alaska, a last frontier country, this is an amazing mountain to climb that bring's you into expedition mountaineering.
To undertake this expedition you would need to have good stamina, a healthy respect for bad weather conditions, a mix of mountaineering skiis. Snow shoeing, cramponing, campcraft, navigation, crevasse rescue techniques, rope skills, sled pulling and the ability to carry heavy packs and to be self sufficient for 16 to 20 days.

We do not run commercial or guided expedition to McKinley, but every year we run a leadership program to train aspiring climbers that wish to climb McKinley and organise all we organise the logistics for those wishing to undertake this challenge as a self sufficient team.
Mt McKinley is the highest mountain on the American Continent
and is one of the coldest and stormiest mountains on earth.
It creates it's own weather patterns.
All members will have to be self-sufficient on the mountain
and to be able to work as a team member for the good of
the su
ccess of the team.
All members are proficient in glacier travel, crevasse
rescue techniques, camp-craft and have been on numerous
expeditions throughout the world. Training has taken place
in Norway, Alaska, Scotland and the European Alps for this
expedition and for our trip to the pole as well as Clares
attempt of Mt.Vinsion in Antarctica.
