surrounding amongst some of the most famous and picturesque
mountains in the world.
(Ben Nevis, Buchaille Etive Mhór, Falcan Ridge,
Aonach Eagach Ridge and many more route and options in
the highlands of Scotland).

It is an ideal adventure week for those wishing to progress
from hill-walker to novice mountaineering in controlled
conditions with experienced mountaineers.
Or for those with experience a chance to refresh their
skills and get some interesting Scottish winter mountaineering
experience.
Trekking and Expedition Training
For those who intend planning a trek or expedition to the
higher ranges this is an ideal opportunity to get fit and
learn the skills that are required on trekking snow and
ice mountains as well as assessing your fitness level for
such an undertaking.
Outline of Objective
Unlike the large and institutional mountaineering schools,
we operate on a small and informal basic. This way it allows
a more personal service and the opportunity for people
to learn more.
We stay in the same accommodation so that gives you the opportunity
to get to know the facilitators of the course for the week
better and it also allows us to plan the days events each
evening ahead to suit the needs of the group.
Climbing Objectives
for Course
Our intention would be to climb a range of classic grade
1 2 and 3 Scottish winter mountaineering routes depending
on the groups ability.
Ac
commodation
A very important feature of any trip is accommodation, we
stay in a world famous friendly Scottish adventure hostel
just outside Fort William and close to our mountaineering
objectives.
We will have a history evening of stories and folklore
of the Scottish highlands and it’s warriors. We will also
enjoy a whiskey tasting evening with one of Scotland’s
experts as well as instructional evening on ice climbing.
Accommodation is full board which includes, full breakfast
in the morning, pack lunch for the hills and evening dinner.
This will release us all to spend our time more efficiently
on the mountains while in Scotland.
